“Three years after an incident that led to the disappearance of 40-year-old Ndedi Ngwe and his friends, neighbors say a new attach last week prompted some soldiers to storm the area seeking information on them”.
« Where are they? You are helping them to escape right? Do you know they are separatists? », one of the police officers questioned a a neighbour to the aforementioned persons.
The military constantly brandishes any young person as a supporter of separatists’ activities which often leads to their execution. Human rights organizations have accused Cameroon of rising extrajudicial killings.

The case with Ndedi comes after military spotted them playing Ludo in a bar closer to where separatist fighters shot dead two of theirs.
They were easily seen as accomplices and one of them was instantly shot dead, while Ndedi and others ran into hiding.
Sources say a mix patrol of the forces of law and order were recently at the neighbourhood harassing civilians with questions over their whereabouts.
Many believe they may instantly be killed if arrested by the military.
A human right lawyer I contacted said he has been on the case, but the victims are too scared to show up due to security concerns.
Cases surrounding the Anglophone crisis has more often been addressed on the field and Justice administered by the military, which keeps many from starting the process and believe in the country’s judicial system.
