« With a view to a better participation of women in the upcoming elections, the president of the bureau of the section of the Women’s Organization of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Rally (OFRDPC) Wouri 4, Florence NOUADJOU made a raid, on October 14, 2023, in the Ofrdpc sub-section of Mabanda – Tonji. It was a question for the captain of this section to go and touch the realities on the ground and the launch of the campaign and the validation of the basic committees and cell of Wouri 4 ».
In principle, the women of the Wouri 4 section of the Women’s Organization of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Rally (OFRDPC) « Littoral Region » have a decisive role to play during the electoral consultations. But they do not seem to be fully aware of this in view of their low turnout in the electoral elections. To correct this inadequacy and keep the flame of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Rally (CPDM) still shining in this district, the women of the Ofrdpc sub-section of Mabanda – Tonji, Wouri 4 of the Flame Party were edified during this first raid, on the stakes of their effective participation in the future electoral consultations.
An essential component of the CPDM’s victory in the next elections and guardians of living together in Cameroon, Félicité Odette Mbiano, secretary of this CPDM women’s sub-section, will thank the office of the Wouri 4 section for the choice of Mambanda-Tonji for the launch of this campaign.
Choosing Mambanda-Tonji in Bonabéri in the fourth district of the city of Douala, as the first stage of the 35 sub-sections that make up Wouri 4, the regional councilor of the Littoral, Florence NOUADJOU, in her speech said that she went down to the field for a « proximity », in order to encourage women to register on the electoral lists.
« 2025 is tomorrow. I have chosen to be in front of it », « the suffering of the women of Bonabéri is over », says Florence NOUADJOU, President (OFRDPC) Wouri 4.
Before adding, « I have come to bring my luck to you. »
In addition to the remobilization of troops at the grassroots, this descent to launch the campaign in Mambanda-Tonji, as well as the validation of the rank-and-file committees and cells coordinated by the president of the Bureau of the Ofrdpc Wouri 4 section, Florence NOUADJOU, who is also a regional councilor for the coast, also made it possible to educate the women of this sub-section on the benefits of digitalization, educated by an IT expert.
For her part, the coastal regional councilor thinks that, for more opportunities in their business, these women, mainly economic operators, should each have a smartphone and know how to use it.
Before continuing that the leaders of sections and sub-sections of this constituency, these women who compete with each other in imagination to affirm their membership of the party should wear a gadget in the colors of the CPDM.
