“A military raid in Rendezvous, a quarter in Bamenda has sent several persons into hiding, while others have instantly relocated”.
This was provoked by an attack on a control post that led to the death of two police officers on Tuesday.
The attack was carried out by suspected separatist fighters who swing into the population and attack forces of law and order as part of a three-year war.
Separatists are seeking to build a new nation they call « Ambazonia » over the two English-speaking regions of Cameroon.

Authorities in Cameroon have declared them terrorists, which has led to a series of raids by the military to hunt down separatists or anyone related to them.
However, this was not the case of 40-year-old Ndedi Ngwe Mérimé, Mbah Conrad and Kenneth Nkoh who were playing Ludo, at a local bar close to where the attack occurred in Rendezvous.
When the soldiers arrived, one of his friends was immediately shot dead and the others ran into oblivion.
Calm is yet to return to the quarter, as many young persons including Ndedi and his friends have not been spotted since the attack.
Locals say security forces have been to the area severally seeking information on the whereabouts of the trio.
